"Storage costs are set to be a major issue" they say, and I don't doubt it.
It looks as if the EU wishes to record, and save, all telephone and Internet activity for one year "to help combat organized crime and terrorism."
Not only do I think that's a bad, bad idea, I think it sucks. I guess the safety and security people would feel justifies this for some, but I prefer taking my chances.
