Having lost the Taliban and its fundamentalist, backward teachings, God must have looked around and found a vaccuum (which He's said to abhor). To fill the void, Bush steps in, and we're all the poorer.

I'm all for exposing people to different ideas, but in a science class it should be restricted to critical thought and method. This "Intelligent Design" ploy is better suited for comparative religion studies, or even philosophy, and is no more scientific than the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
